Dr. Gustavo Corrales is an ophthalmologist board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is affiliated with Virginia Hospital Center and Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Corrales earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Eye and Ear Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr Corrales is committed to providing the most advanced and compassionate eye care to his patients. He is actively involved in research to bring the most modern treatments to his patients.
Dr Corrales is involved in humanitarian missions to provide eye care, including cataract surgery, in areas of the world with scant resources, including Honduras and India.
